Come and rent one of our beautiful vacation homes in Crete, the biggest of Greece's islands and the fifth one in the Mediterranean Sea. Rich in History and cultural identity, surrounded by miles and miles of white sand and seashores and many of the most stunning landscapes you will ever find. Even though it has a peninsular geography, Crete has high mountains, many caves, and deep gorges, being Samaria Gorge the most famous and visited among them. It was declared a national park and it goes all the way through Omalos Plateau to the very sea, making it one of the favorite excursion routes for all the adventurers around the world.
Heraklion, its capital city, has the perfect contrast between modernity and tradition, being one of the most important trade centers in the world and having the rests of the extinct Minoan civilization. It also shows a great diversity of modern places and beautiful beaches calling the interests of the most diverse people. Crete is an Island full of tradition and culture and so are its habitants.
Warm and proud, Cretans are open to tourists who visit the city, and many of them play the most emblematic musical instrument to their culture: the Lyre. And of course, gastronomy lovers will find in Crete a great variety of Mediterranean and tropical flavors all of them accompanied with the especial ingredient of almost every Cretan food: olive oil.
