Wij hebben onlangs Florence bezocht met onze kinderen. Het verblijf in appartement Dario was bijzonder aangenaam. De eigenaren hebben ons heel hartelijk en gastvrij ontvangen. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien en is heel authentiek.Het staat in een rustige omgeving en goed bereikbaar (lopend of bus) vanuit het oude centrum van Florence.Een prima uitvalsbasis. We komen zeker nog eens terug!

Mein Mann und ich haben einen ganzen Monat in dieser wunderschönen Ferienwohnung gelebt. Sie ist perfekt eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Die Vermieterfamilie wohnt ebenfalls in dem Haus und ist sehr nett! Der Balkon geht auf den Innenhof hinaus und gibt den Blick frei auf einen romantisch angelegten Garten. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Strasse mit wenig Verkehr. Die Busstation ist in einer Minute zu Fuss zu erreichen. Herrlich ist auch die Möglichkeit, in einem zehnminütigen Spaziergang den Piazale Michelangelo und die wunderschöne Kirche San Miniato al monte zu erreichen. Wir haben uns vom ersten Tag an wie zu Hause gefühlt und werden im Appartamento "Dario" sicher noch mehr logieren.

Hello from Toronto. I would like to highly reccommend this delightful apartment situated in a very large home three bustops from the Ponte Vecchio!! The bus system in Florence is amazingly efficient and convenient.The apartment has two lovely balconies (plus a Juliette balcony off one of the bedrooms), where we would have breakfast on one in the morning and cocktails in the evening on the other. My husband and I rented the apartment for the month of May 2007 and we cant wait to return. The owners were extremely gracious, helpful, accommodating,courteous and friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay meaningful and enjoyable and we felt entirely as if we were in our own home. Needless to say we are really looking forward to our next visit. The apartment is located less than three minutes walk from the south side of the Arno river and close to the old walls of the city. I am told that this area is considered to be the "aristocratic" area of Florence and yet it is much less expensive than the "tourist" area on the north side of the Arno, where cappuccini and food are much pricier. We found the apartment to be very convenient for sightseeing, shopping and access to the autostrada.I hope your stay will be as wonderful as ours was and I'm sure will be again soon.Alexandra Bryson
