The Mediterranean is 80 meters away only, distance to Mar Menor -- a 170 km² saltwater lagoon -- is about 70 meters. Because of the year-round warm temperatures Mar Menor is well-known as a water sports Eldorado. The 75 m² apartment with 2 balconies consists of bathroom, kitchen, bedroom with 2 single beds and warderobe. The combined living and dining room with satellite TV provides a dinette with 4 seats as same as the balcony. The kitchen is well equipped with ceramic stove top, oven, washing machine, iron and ironing board so even longer stays are comfortable. The big fridge with freezing compartment is very useful on warmer days. With it’s almost forever blue sky it is one of the most beautiful holiday regions at the Mediterranean. You will see the sunrise above the Mediterranean and unforgettable sunsets into the Mar Menor (the small sea). Climate is very beneficial, too. In summer the lagoon usually reaches temperatures around 26 °C so you can spend hours in the water without getting uncomfortable or cold. Mar Menor is pretty quiet without any surf. This surf you can enjoy at the Mediterranean with a slight breeze. The region is ideally suited for families with small children. Others appreciate the water sports Eldorado with the mildest climate of the Spanish peninsula - fishing, swimming, sailing, diving, jetskiing, waterskiing, surfing and golf, everything is possible here and there are many schools where you could learn how to do these sports. Near the peninsula is the international known 18-hole golf course and the casino of the Murcai region. The new 9-hole Veneciola golf course is directly beside the condominium of Aldeas de Taray. The fishing harbour of Cabo Palos provides many restaurants with Spanish and international cuisine and the weekly market each Sunday. The marina of Tomas Maestre wirh countless boutiques, restaurants and supermarkets is situated in the north of the peninsula. There are boats for rent and you could do boat tours. The marina also provides the new ferry line with several daily transfers to the mainland. The Murcia region has many sights, among them is the ancient theatre in Cartagena and the cathedral of Murcia. During the holiday season you can rent our apartment on a weekly base only.
