GITE DE LA GRAVÉE

Located between the Marais Poitevin known as the Green Venice and the forest, not far from La Rochelle, our gite, very comfortable for 4 persons is located in the peaceful setting of a small south Vendée Hamlet. The ideal base for exploring and enjoying the Vendée Région.
A rustic cottage fully restored to its original appearance, with exposed stone walls, wooden beams and wooden floor and tiled ground floor. It is furnished with antique French country style comfortable furniture.
Ground floor : a large living room with a fireplace, a fully fitted modern kitchen, bathroom and separate WC. Utility room. One double bedroom with en suite shower room. (bed 1.60 mt wide)
Upstairs : a double bedroom with one 1.40 mt wide bed, one mezzanine bedroom with two single beds, each 1.20 mt wide.
Facilities included :
Chimney, TV, videorecorder/player, telephone, mini hi-fi, games, books and video cassettes, DVD player, WIFI
Dishwasher, microwaves oven, full oven, washing machine, deep freezer.
All rooms have electric heating.
To enhance comfort for a restful and enjoyable stay, there are a 500 square meters private garden, a stone patio with garden furniture, a large outdoor roofed dining area with rustic furniture and a purpose built chimney-barbecue.
Bathroom towels, house linen, and bed linen is provided,
the beds are made prior to arrival.
The gîte is open all year round.
