CASALE AMATI COUNTRY HOU

In 1300 there used to be an ancient olive mill, where the apartments are situated today. A crystal water spring helped the movement of the heavy milling machines and mechanisms, that were used for the production of a delicious olive oil, producted with the olives that ripened under the sun on the hills nearby.

Amati Marquise, the owner of the olive mill and the nearby plots, understood that this would have been a splendid place to live and began the transformation into residencial units, until the place was no longer used for the production of the olive oil because of the complete transformation into residential untis made by the Marquise’s heirs.

The rebuilding was made with love and respect for the original style and features, so much that you can still admire inside of the building many of the peculiarities and the ancient authentic pieces of furniture in the 3 apartments, each one with 6 beds, 2 of which are connected with a door that lets (if required) the 2 apartments become a big one for up to 12 persons.

Outside, no fewer than 7000 mq of acreage surround the Farmhouse, farmed with grapewines, fruit trees, hickories and hazelnut trees create a relaxed privacy and regenerate the spirit in a natural and striking surrounding.
