Total remodel just finished (December 2013), the property offers stylish accommodation for the discerning visitor to Oxford, looking for more space & independence than a hotel room offers, and at a fraction of the cost of said hotel accommodation.

Enter through gate into small terraced front garden. Roses & lavender in summer. Entrance porch with light above.

Sitting room, 24' with pale reclaimed wooden floors, a bay window to front, open fireplace (ornamental), comfortable seating - mix of modern & antiques upholstered in linen. At 'library end' comfortable sofa to enjoy reading, or watching 42" Sony wallmounted Smart TV with Sky Sports.

Steps down and through Crittal-style door into kitchen diner - kitchen by Bulthaup with oak breakfast bar seating 3 and Shaker dining table for 6.

*NB this studio is offered at a supplement. The charges shown for up to 4 guests covers the main house only, i.e. with 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom. If you are a group of 5/6 guests, when you enter your number into the guest field, the supplement will automatically show to include studio. In event you are group of 4 or fewer, but would like the additional space of the studio with its shower room, of course this is possible - but please therefore enter 6 guests in the requested field, rather than 4. This gives the total for both parts of the property - giving use of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

There is on street parking, but with limited options for visitors who do not have access to the required permits. Therefore just 2 hour spaces usually, which isn't very convenient! Oxford is a not a car-friendly city, and the house is so centrally located, a car is really more of a hindrance than a help. Walking, or bus or rental bike is the most pleasant way to explore, together with good local taxi service.

Easy access to walking on Port Meadow or University Parks - in summer watch the Oxford University Cricket Club play their matches in the Parks.

Close to the Cotswolds - with Burford 'gatway to the Cotswolds' just half an hour away, similarly Blenheim Palace is easily accessible by bus, in just half an hour, from the end of the road. Also, possible to bike there, on dedicated cycle paths. Lovely summer activity.
